Technique
At Ray Metallfabrik AB we have a construction/development department that only works with product development. Important steps in the product development process are concept development, design, the making of a physical prototype and testing. For an example, when developing a new exhaust or exhaust part, we usually build the prototype directly onto a vehicle for perfect fit. We then measure soundlevels, motor efficiency and back pressure and adjust the prototype for optimal performance.

We use 3D CAD and solid modelling to make construction drawings and to produce production data. We also work with 3D specifications received from customers. We continuously test new materials and different types of constructions in order to improve the performance and durability of our products.
