The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) 2023/988 will enter into force on December 13, 2024. The purpose of this regulation is to ensure that all consumer products on the EU market are safe, and it establishes specific obligations for all sales channels to ensure this. The General Product Safety Regulation serves as a safety net for products or risks not covered by other EU legislation.

• Establishing procedures aimed at ensuring compliance with the rules and effective market surveillance

•  To establish the conditions necessary to respond to incidents in which hazardous products have reached the market.
